Some dreams take years to quietly grow before the right moment arrives. For the Breugelmans & Coenradie family — Natasja, René, their daughter Rosalie, and their dog Shira — that dream was moving to southern Spain, a wish they had held close for over ten years.

Over eight months, we explored Málaga and Granada together, visiting villages and coastal towns along the Costa del Sol in search of the right place to start their new life. There were beautiful discoveries, but also moments of disappointment as promising homes slipped away.

In La Herradura, on Granada’s Costa Tropical, everything finally came together. The family found not just a house, but a home: bright, welcoming, with space to live, work, host loved ones, and enjoy stunning views over the sea.
For the family, it was the fulfillment of a ten-year dream. For me, it was one of the most challenging and beautiful projects at Meraki Relocation — a reminder that when a dream finally comes true, the joy is shared by everyone who helped make it possible.
